Wonderful complete four-volume antique set of Everett S. Stackpole’s History of New Hampshire, an extensive early 20th-century history of the Granite State.

Published by The American Historical Society in New York in 1916, the set covers New Hampshire history from its early settlement through the 19th and early 20th centuries and includes numerous portraits, illustrations, historical figures, places, military history, biographical information, and genealogical material.

All four volumes are present with matching dark green cloth bindings, gilt spine lettering, decorative gilt emblems, and patterned endpapers.

Volumes included:

• Volume I
• Volume II
• Volume III
• Volume IV

Condition: Antique/pre-owned condition with wear consistent with age. Bindings show shelf wear and some fading/rubbing. Page edges have age-related discoloration and spotting. Interior pages show expected toning. Volume I has a noticeable tear/loss at the lower outer corner of the title page, as shown in the photographs. Please review all photos carefully for condition.
