Antique Spencer monocular compound microscope featuring black enamel construction with beautiful brass fittings, multiple interchangeable optics and its original fitted wooden storage case.

Serial number records date this microscope to approximately 1922, placing it in the early Spencer Lens Company period.

This is an especially attractive early scientific instrument with extensive brass detailing and a wonderful period laboratory appearance.

Condition:
Vintage/antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Brass components show tarnish, oxidation and surface wear. Black finish has scattered wear. Stage shows patina and discoloration. Wooden case has considerable interior wear, finish loss, scratches and other age-related wear as photographed.

Optical components have not been professionally inspected or cleaned. Microscope has not been fully tested for scientific use and is being sold as a vintage collectible instrument.
