Vintage Gary Ladd Kitt Peak Observatory Lightning Framed Photo Print Arizona

Striking vintage framed photographic print depicting a dramatic lightning storm over Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona. The original image was captured by noted landscape photographer Gary Ladd in 1972 and became one of his best-known photographs.

The scene features multiple branching lightning bolts illuminating the observatory domes and mountain landscape. The deep purple tones, dark sky, and bright flashes give the image an especially dramatic mid-century space-age look.

The print is professionally framed beneath glass with layered matting and a slim silver-tone metal frame. The reverse backing board is stamped “Custom Framing by Julius Gilmore” of New York City.
