Vintage Japanese Arita Shoho Ko Imari Porcelain Lidded Bowl Blue Gold Floral

Beautiful vintage Japanese Arita porcelain covered bowl by Shoho (昭峰) featuring an ornate Ko-Imari style design.

The octagonal porcelain bowl is decorated in deep cobalt blue with individual floral and bamboo panels accented in red, green and gold. The fitted lid continues the decorative pattern and is finished with a sculpted porcelain handle. The underside bears a blue Japanese maker’s mark identifying the piece as Arita ware.

A striking example of vintage Japanese porcelain that would make a wonderful display piece, collectible, trinket dish, covered serving bowl, or addition to an Imari/Arita collection.
