Vintage Taxco Sterling Silver Turquoise Poison Ring Adjustable 10.5g Size 6.5

Beautiful vintage Mexican sterling silver poison ring featuring an oval turquoise cabochon and an ornate dimensional floral design. The ring is decorated with applied silver flowers, bead accents, rope-style borders, and oxidized detailing that gives the design wonderful depth and character.

The top opens to reveal a hidden hinged compartment beneath the stone, traditionally referred to as a poison ring, pillbox ring, locket ring, or stash ring.

The interior is stamped STERLING and also bears an additional worn oval hallmark. The ring has an adjustable band and currently measures approximately size 6.5. Total weight is approximately 10.5 grams.
